There is a ton of info on Turbonique on the web. They also build a rocket-powered Rupp Dart Kart...and a 9-second Beetle, which ultimately crashed around 180mph. There is at least ONE Rupp Monza Jr kart that is Turbonique rocket powered - it was on eBay sometime between 99 and 03 - I have pics of it on my other computer. Eric P. DeWitt, IA

I was formerly a Quality Engineer at Firestone, though on the Ag tire side. I will not run tires more than 10 years old, no matter how they look. I did, once, and had a perfect appearing tire fail, on the interstate, on a Greenbrier. Based on what I cod tell, the polyester plies failed. Eric P DeWitt, IA

Not correct. Only 1965 had the 'flat' stamped handle, unless some early '66 had as well. Also, the spring on the back of

All - I am looking for a good 1966 RED ashtray, with factory original paint. I'm having a hard time matching interior paint (even using codes from Kent Sullivan's site) - and would like to have it scanned and color matched, to get the dash paint right. If you have one, with decent paint, better than the photo below, and no extra holes, I'm interested. needpart

Not sure Anti-Sieze is needed. I live in rust country- and I’ve never had any that really stuck together, even with ridiculous amounts of corrosion. Eric P DeWitt, IA

New Bright Red (code LQ) dash pad from Clarks Corvair, unused. Comes with the molded Dash pad, glue, and instructions, just as it came from Clarks. I ordered this a few months back, and have chosen to go with a different color. I will also include a bare steel dash, that is ready to have the pad installed. Clarks price was $289.90, plus shipping My price is $150, plus shipping
