Its a sizeable chunk of aluminum you have to start with, then a waterjet, or CNC to make them accurately, then drilling, tapping, and cleaning. $60 doesnt seem cheap if you have to pay someone to do all those things, and keep up the machines to do them. Eric P. DeWitt, IA

I'm interested in a photo of the CAD file - and pic of the triangular bracket inside the trunk, if possible. I've got a towbar from TomKeo that he built long ago, and towed my 66 (now my brothers) to Colorado from Iowa with zero issues. Eric P. DeWitt, IA

I have spoken to the current owner (the one that inherited the car). He is not sharing much (any) info other than the pics. He will be 'listing' it for sale in 3-4 weeks ( I presume for title transfer to his name, and to generate interest) His uncle had the car in storage for 30-40 years. Eric P. DeWitt, IA

I only use John's vitons on new rebuilds, but I have to say, I have set of Clarks 'rubber' pump cups on my 66 Convertible, and they've been in there and working for ...5-6 years. Car is only driven in warm weather, sits in the garage the rest of the time. I only use non-ethanol. Eric P. DeWitt, IA
