I have used th Duplicolor grey/ white- and its significantly greener than the factory paint I just sprayed the Clarks Zolotone, Saturday. It looks good- a little light colored, but my primer was very light grey. You MUST use the correct gun top size, or the 'splatter' pellets burst before they get on the trunk. Eric P DeWitt, IA

I ordered a 66-69 mirror from them. It is GM Licensed - but NOT an exact reproduction as it claimed. The mirror portion is not replaceable, like the originals (not a big deal to me), but, the portion opposite the mirror face, where the ball / socket mount mount is has a dimple (concave) on the face, where the replacement has a convex face. Clarks repros have a flat face (on the $$ saver)

To be fair - my video above is actually the Corvair Track Classic, in Hastings, NE, from 2017. Its a little higher speed AutoX than at conventions, typically. Here is my 2013 Convention Autocross Video (still looking for my 2017 video). 2013 Convention Autocross

Tim is correct - belonged to Jamie Reinhart, prior to restoration. Alex Becker, in somewhere South Dakota owns it. It is a beautiful truck in person. He also has autocrossed it, at Goodguys events! Eric P. DeWitt, IA

My top is stored up, and latched, unless I'm driving it with the top down. Its a Clarks top, replaced in 1999 or 2000. Was stored outside for about half that time. There is no issue with the header seal - still seals just fine. No top shrinkage / Stretch noted, either.

Jim - Awesome news! My kids (6 and 9) both love the VC race, and can't wait to do it again. Keeping FAMILY events at the Convention is a way to keep Corvairs alive. Eric P. DeWitt, IA

Steve - Great Spotlight. I have participated MANY times. My #1 gripe for the VC race, ok, maybe 2... 1: Its always 'late' at night, and is a kid friendly event (my 9 year old has competed, and 6 year old will this year. It, and the Model Car Concours are probably the one 2 convention events that kids can actively participate. I'm hoping coinciding with the Banquet Cocktail hour th

Maybe it shows that Corvairs don't really need disc brakes! I know they look cool, but I have driven all my vairs in lots of different situations, and with properly maintained drums - never saw an issue / need for discs.
