AS Eric knows, a lot of racing history running these wheels. Including, Pure Stock Eliminator at the 1968 NHRA High Altitude Nationals at Denver Colorado, 1972 NHRA Division 2 Stock Champion, and 19 National and World records from 1972 - 2000. In 2001, I had the current Keizer 3 piece slotted aluminum wheels (7 lbs) made and these were retired.

My 66 Monza Cpe weighs 2300 with 3 gal of gas. Items deleted include all Windshield wiper stuff, radio, sun visors, rear seat belts, back seat fold down hardware, spare tire bracket, mufflers ,all under car heater pieces. Replaced stock wheels with 7.5 pound 3 piece slotted aluminum wheels, smaller starter, and lighter battery.

Just when I thought I had it figured out. I note that the right side pivot of the cross-shaft on all 95/110/140 corvairs is angled like the one on the left in Jim's picture. Probably due to the offset (L/R) of the two heads So, I reasoned the same would apply to the secondary pivots (the right side would be angled).
