So. I am currently building an old choir corvair sandrail. I’m pretty much complete but I want to dial in my shifter and shift box. I want a super easy smooth shifting experience . Also I don’t want it in the middle of the two seats . I have a 4sp manual transAxels. Any help or tutorials would be great, pictures especially

I'm not using the corvair axels, I'm using the vw cv joints and the clarks corvair adapter plates for it. Just corvair engine and trams. It's for a sand rail

ROD thank you , I live in Poway actually. I've talked to Brian at sway away a few times , I didn't know if there was a stock length that when you do the adapters I could just pick up. Also, my original trans had the old school welded yokes, the guy a clarks told me I needed a later model yoke so he sent them to me and the splines are. Touch shorter . And

So if they have that much movement would would be a recommended axel length. Passenger side streight across length is 14"1/2. The driver side is 16". Full droop add 1 1/2" this is my first time building a rail. I live in San Diego

I need help figuring out my sandrail , it has a corvair motor and transaxle on a vw IRS pan, I purchased the adapter plates from clarks and the 100cv joints and stub axles, I am at a loss because it seems like axles are 2 different sizes the driver side at full droop is like 17" and the passenger side is 15" at full droop, is anyone faner with this conversion and can help me out, Please help I ha
