Took carb off checked it over blow out passageway. With vacuum at 10 I think there might be a leak. Not enough vacuum to get idle fuel circuit to work

The valve guides were bad so I removed the other head also bad guides. But it only had the copper gasket. My question is There a standard deck height from top of head to gasket area that I should try to get to keep both heads the same height? I did do a

Hello Matt From advice I got here, I was able to check the temp gauge and it did work by grounding the wire and turning on the key the gauge jump to 600. But it stuck there after I unhooked the wire. But it did return to 200. I did check on Vairtrix web site but it says coming in June 2017 so nothing available yet from them. Now I have to get the tack to work. how do I test that?

Seth In another post you stated you are running or will run a single temp gauge from both sides of the heads. I cannot find that post. but you gave a pic of the gauge with twin inputs and stated the company name. Can you share that info again? Also there was talk of cool down lengths for the wires. Are you running that setup and do you find it give good temp reading ? Thanks

The recommender time was on the can of carb / parts cleaner. I did try to unscrew the butterflies but screws just broke off. Now I will have to drill the broke part out. Now trying the 50/50 acetone and atf. I have 2 full sets of carbs for the 140 I would think I could get a set to work. But for now no luck.
