Sounds shall we say a bit misleading at best....unless GM has licensed them. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 23 days ago MtnVairMike I saw not onw, but two 62 Loadsides.

Just sent a reply to your PM. Fingers crossed.

Mike Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago MtnVairMike They are a great idea despite the pundits. I have a 78 truck I bought new, still has the original clutch switch. My wife just retired a few years ago a 85 Blazer 300k miles, original clutch switch.
For the once in a blue moon when a push start is needed still possible, just turn on ignition, roll and release clutch, easy to do.
Much cheaper than that oh sh_t moment when someone hits the ke Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago MtnVairMike Well...the short fuse edit timer (shorter than any of the other 10-12 forums I'm on) got me before I finished attaching my photos.
So here are the visuals.

The lift table is the bomb for sure! Works best with a Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 weeks ago MtnVairMike 15. Re: New Flatbed! Mike Hall had a similar take with a one of a kind Corvair wrecker. He had it at the convention this year in Peachtree City. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 weeks ago MtnVairMike Moderator

Matt,
Check out the exhaust page below on Clark's website.
Confirms that 67-69 w/smog used the larger 140 type exhaust and mufflers, just single muffler if a 110 engine.
64-69 We offer original oval style mufflers with "regular" size tail pipe (1 1/2") Forum: Corvair Center Forum 2 months ago MtnVairMike One other idea. I didn't know it until I got my low miles 69 and started poking around on the exhaust and new mufflers.
Unless I got something sideways even on the single exhaust they went to bigger pipes and muffler diameter for better flow with the smog pump installed.
Thanks,
Mike Forum: Corvair Center Forum 2 months ago MtnVairMike Absolutely!
Got 600-700 still. Cleaned out folks in the 90s-00s for cheap too.
Go to Record Store Day every year and got my granddaughter started too.
Love the sound. Forum: Corvair Center Forum |
