This year they have invited the VW and (cough) Porsche guys to try and bring the car count up , it takes a great deal of money to rent the track . Make your plans and join the fun.

Been a long time since I`ve been on corvaircenter ! Thanks for the pictures Eric ! I thought by the end of the day I had posted a 1:54 , maybe it was my imagination , dunno . Or maybe that was Greg`s time from the previous year that I was trying to beat . Regardless , it`s a GREAT time , be one of the cool kids and come on out this summer ......see if you can beat me !

I wish I had an extra couple Benjamins laying around and I would send off for a Roger Parent linkage setup . The carbs will balance at idle and after I set the left carb linkage to drop in the hole and restart they will balance at idle then as I raise the rpm the fluid will raise in the left side about 4 inches at 1500 then start evening back out the higher the rpm . I have a bad surge at cruise

12. Smoke
Thoughts on this ? I had just run 25 miles at 70+ interstate then 10 miles at 60 , then 1 mile of basically idling down My gravel road . Does this at long stop lights also. Doesn`t seem to smoke under hard acceleration , only smokes on this side . Then seems to just go away. 175-175-180 cyl. pressure . It does have valve seals on the intakes . Struggling to get the carbs balanced and there is mor

I suppose given the authenticity of it that was not a bad price . I could reproduce it for about $3-400 .00 . Neon is becoming a lost art as the old benders retire , no one is learning the trade to replace them . Now the sheet metal backer panel on ebay , I`ve been throwing stuff like that away for 25 years . At an antique shop maybe worth $500 '

I have one with good gears , except the throw out snout(?) is loose in the case , I can turn it by hand and was told the gears will eat themselves in short order as the pinion has lost its preload. I am looking for a known good used unit or a rebuilt . I don`t have the faculties or the facilities to rebuild the one I have.

Has anyone tried to adapt the 64 leaf spring to an FC ? Would there be any benefit? Would a sway bay be better ? It`s probably been talked about before but the key search words are so vague it comes up with a huge amount of info to sort through . I have a `64 car 95hp 4sp donor for My van , just curious , Thanks.
