I know articles have been addressed about the SU carb for turbo application. I have an HD8 that I plan to use, and also a 65 YH as an option. Can anyone point me to the article? Also looking to buy a SU adapter, or one to borrow, so I can machine one.

The bottom chamber is wide open for the burner, it passes up into the top chamber, routes around staggered baffles, before it goes up the exhaust. Stainless tubes loop through the lower chamber to heat the circulating antifreeze, the exhaust and tank on top also heat the antifreeze with copper tubing wrapped around it.

Yup, trans fluid is even a better burn. It all mixes in the same tank. This produces no smoke when running, such a clean burn.

I have a 60×100 shop, I made a waste oil stove, besides the radiant heat, it heats water, through tubes in burner, and copper pipe wrapped on exhaust. Travels to various heat exchangers throughout the shop. Uses 1 gal per hour, no shortage of oil in motorcycle shop, plus buddies bring oil over too. Lots of fun, burns real clean, shoots a 2' flame inside burn chamber. Lots of fun, and folks l

A very big thank you to these fine gentlemen that have been instrumental in helping me through my first turbo build. Bob Coffin has chimed in his fair share as well, for my engine building. I perform the same assistance to the vintage BMW motorcycle crowd. If the younger generation could understand these types of unselfish dedication, our world would be so much better off. Thank you all, and plea

Rebuilding my turbo, thanks Ken Hand for the help. The back of this turbine looks to have a crack, but almost more of a casting flaw. Has anyone seen this, and what are your recommendations?

If you hadn't stumbled on it yet, Google rayjay turbo rebuild, by Nicholas Schumaker. It is a great resource.

Thank you. I often had to use "big crayons" for my soldiers. I found it's a fun way of saying, we never stop learning. I appreciate the lesson.

If your compressor is indeed bad, send me a PM, I upgraded mine, and you can have my old one for shipping cost.
