Took out the front and rear seats. Ripped up the old nasty carpet.The seats will go to the upholsterer next month. Carpet is on it's way from Clark's. Baby Steps.

I thought it was a well done piece and to my eye the car is just beautiful. The leaking brake cylinder was kind of nasty. But it is nice that he consistently gives our hobby a shout out.

I turned 67 January 19th. Bought a 1962 4 door PG and drove it to school. The emergency brake would freeze up and I would drive around backwards in the parking lot until it would break loose. I finally learned to chock the front tire with a chock. Currently driving a 1966 Monza.

Had the same problem when I tried to rent one in Alabama. Told them I had changed my mind about the Corvair and that I was going to buy a VW instead. They said no problem and rented it to me. I thought maybe it was a clearance issue. But where I loaded and unloaded there were sloped driveways so that wasn't an issue for me.

I watched the turbo convertible go across the block. It ended up going for $29,000.00

As Spectre said there were 87 vehicles at the roundup. We had vehicles from a total of eight different states. One of our members had 7 of his vairs there. It was a great show and now the baton is passed to Terry Kalp and the Wichita club for next year's round up.
