hi fellers...i "rebuilt" my carbs...gaskets only, charged the batters overnite, started it this mornin and it only seems to run on one side...lol, ok, start yellin at me..."BUBBA, LEAVE IT ALONE"! what did i miss? thanks

mornin guys. i turned the regulator to 4 psi, put another new filter on it, starts and runs good now....until i give er gas, then it backfires out the right carb, runs a bit then dies. start it again, idles fine but only till i give it gas, backfire. i'll reset the timing, "calibrate" the carbs, see whut happens.

hi matt. all fuel lines are either new er blown out, no internal filter in this tank, out of a 55 chebby pick em up truck. tomorrow, im gunna tear chit apart, see wassup. hi steve, how are you? i put a new pump on it, 5-7.5 psi, rule book says 2-3.5 psi, SO, i put a requlator on it after the pump. new NAPA filter before the pump.

hi guys, hope all yalls havin a great summer. tiny aggervation here. earlier, my carbs would fill up with gas, start up and run fine, till the bowls went empty. so my buddy suggested my electric fuel pump wasnt puttin enuff gas out to keep the bowls at proper level. so, i bought a new pump AND regulator, set it at 2.5, fired this beast up, she ran fine..........till the carb bowls went dry...C

hi matt. it ran good when i parked it back in the fall. i cleaned out the old gas in the tank and carbs, cleaned the lugs an points, fired it up, idle, runs good, hit the gas pedal, it dies...grrrr..lol how you doin these days? good i hope.

i got to the point where im puttin the torque converter on the flex plat, but the nipple on the "engine" side of the TC in the center, wont go in the hole on the crank. i pulled the brass bushing out, but still no go. the TC is from an early and the motor is a 64....early. any ideas? thanks

took the pan off the tranny i got from jerry and it had a BUNCH of bugs and spiders and bees in it...but the fluid i drained from it was RED! any thoughts? im tryin to figure out how they got in there....ggg
