Last night, buttoned up carb rebuild, after doing the Clark's throttle shaft, teflon seal kit. WHAT A FRIGGIN PROCESS THAT WAS!!!! Still having issues with Cal Corvairs, rebuild kits, having wrong size, aftermarket fuel inlet jet. :X So...will be installing these, back in "Whitey", for a trip to Kettleman City, this Sat. -m

Tore down the top end, to track down an oil seepage. I suspected the top cover, and i think i was right. Added star washers under all the top cover bolts, to keep torque for a little longer. While i have the carbs off, gonna do the Clark's teflon throttle shaft upgrade. That should get rid of my vacuum leak. -m

I have a couple of straight, stock oil pans, with plug. I have a couple 90 degree oil filter adapters, both without hardware. (short bolt) I have a good 12 plate oil cooler. I will be bringing this stuff for sale or swap. -m

I have an RH block that looks like that, in the cam journals. Ended up mic'ing out tighter than 3 other blocks i tested. Bore gauge it, and then bore gauge it again, and see what the numbers say. -m

Clark's catalog, page "tech-3". By this list, it either started life as a 1960-1963 80HP Auto trans. Or...a 1964 95HP Auto trans. Depends on what heads are on it now. Lots of years and mixing and matching. -m
