WhenI started in on oil leaks, when my son bought our families first Corvair, in 2010, the 65 110 PG moredoor, 'whitey', I found that the p.o. had changed one bank to Vinton, and the other bank was original, cracked up neoprene. What a difference, to change those out. Oh...and the oil cooler seals as well.

For the front speakers,I installed Clark's front speaker replacement. The kit they sell, has a plate that mounts the two 4" speakers (supplied), and very easy instructions. The upgraded (better sound) speaker kit works very well. I bi-amped the system, with some decent 6x9's in the package tray, and a subwoofer in the rear seat area (rear seat delete), and when tweaked, the Clark

Does he do anything to increase CR? (95 heads being 8:1-8.5:1 CR and 110 heads being 9:1-9.5:1) Or is this negligible? My experience has been a noticeable change in performance, going from 110 heads to 95 he

I bought a pair of these same type, brand new old stock, in package, at a local auto swap meet, years ago. Guy said that he hoped I had an old Vega to put them on. I said they will be going on a Corvair.
