The spindles are a 2" drop spindle I don't remember all the details about adapting them, but I'm pretty sure they use a larger ball joint on the bottom, don't remember about the top. Anyone know what's involved? Thanks

Hi Bob Yes, they come with the Hoosier tires but you will have to grind the tires or use something like "Track Claw" to make the rubber have some grip again, but in all reality, the tires are probably junk.

Well the original video has been replaced by THIS NEW VIDEO He has added to his original video showing that his method is viable, as after assembly it still has the same clearance as on the surface plate. Maybe he had his shim and spacer surface ground so the ends are parallel? IDK but maybe I'll have to try it his way

You can get them at Speedway Motors, they were used on many Fords. These are jam nuts, so they're low profile, but you can just use two of them and tighten them against each other. HTH

IIRC, Ted's "make your own mount" started with an Anchor 2477. It was disassembled and modified with a backing plate and new bolts. I have some pics somewhere if anyone is interested.
