good afternoon all I picked up a set 65-66 door latch assemblies from Jeff at the Corvair ranch the other day after soaking and cleaning them up I installed them and they in fact you can now open the door from inside while locked. no modifications needed not real sure why they changed them? safety or so the door is harder to break in too. although the way I figure if they want in they don'

good afternoon just resealed my pg all went well EXCEPT a stubborn leak at the filler tube have not pulled it apart yet, is there something I might have left out or done wrong when installing it. any suggestions to stop this leak would be appreciated thank in advance

I decided to go a similar route to what Steve suggested. I have some 10 amp timer relays that I have used for several things ( killing the A/c Compressor under acceleration etc.) I will take that and program it for say 15 secon

I guess I should have done this in the first place the fans on the condenser only run when the a/c is running I want them to come on by temp when the A?C is not running ( without a separate switch) to do so. J.O. got it and gave me an option for the switch, now just need to know what thread and size the hole is. you might ask why, well the condenser blocks some of the air coming

Ok just jacked up the car and found the location for the unused hole, it is actually on the drivers side head up front. could someone tell me what thread and size fits that hole. not much clearance to the log but will see what will fit

I'm assuming cylinder head temp. not sure it needs to be real accurate, just needs to let engine warm up then come on. 200 250 degrees maybe.

good afternoon all this what I did per an earlier answer ** I'd suggest a thorough cleaning with detergent, then use some contact cement. Hardware store usually has DAP brand in a small bottle with a brush applicator. Re-insert the glass while the adhesive is still wet. Let it dry for a day or so. I actually let it set up about 30 mins and then inserted glass that was several weeks
