good afternoon all I recently had to have some external work done on my passenger door (rust repair) the guy that did the work in his infinite wisdom removed the glass and apparently it cam out of the sash. found this out when I was putting the glass back in. my question now when the door is shut there is enough tension between the the glass and the rubber on the the back glass needed to

Buster the fronts are from a 2004 chrysler sebring convertable, the backs are from a 96 Kia Rio and weigh about 10 lbs total. the console is from a 96 ford explorer

good afternoon as the subject says how tight should a wrapped belt be when the engine is fully warmed up. should you be able to move the pulley at all? the reason I ask is when cold the belt sounds like it is flapping a little at idle and sometimes when fully hot but I can move the pulley with one finger but not easily. it is idling around 500-550 with the A/C on and in gear.

just to follow up had the alternator tested and the diode pack(for light) and the regulator were both bad. all back together and working great (for now).

good morning all just checked light function with key on and #1 wire grounded light is on is there a way to test the internal regulator? this is a rebuilt alternator just a couple of hrs old. battery just off a tender with 13.17 volts when alt was replaced it was charging at 14.2 volts and all was well. drove home with lights on and they got dim. what good is the charging light i

good afternoon all I need to test the charging light (in dash). I have an internally regulated alternator that went out the other day running the battery down. put new battery in and tested only 12.2 to 12.3 volts with hot battery. replaced alternator with rebuilt and got 14.2 volts. all seemed good drove home last night and when I got there noticed headlights dim. came out in the morni

good morning all is there a reference mark on the steering box itself for centering it in relation to the pitman arm. i have play in the box but it is on the steering column side, all tie rod ends ball joints etc. new and tight. want to center the box so I can the center the steering wheel to it Hank

good afternoon all need to change tranny mounts on my 69 pg can they be done without removing the pan and shifter cable was able to get the hard to get to back bolts loose will the tranny drop down far enough to remove the mounts. any and all suggestions would be much appreciated. Hank

good afternoon all hope everyone had a good Christmas just an update, took drivers side drum off the other day and did not find anything broken bent or otherwise out of place. braks have around 15,000 miles since a complete rebuild, everything but drums and spinner was replaced, shoes are beveled on the ends blew out the dust, was quite a bit, sanded shoes and drum with 120 grit paper and
