Thanks Wagon Master. That's about what I had expected. Not much increase over the years.

I've got a set of heads that I'm going to take to the Florida Fall Affair this weekend but I haven't bought Orr sold a set in quite a while. These have been cleaned with all the original seats in place and no damage to the fins or combustion chambers. Only drawback is that one shroud bolt was broken off on one head. Shouldn't take much to remove it though. You thoughts on p

if that's spent much time in PA, you're not looking at painted sheet metal; you're looking at a lot of Chicken wire and Bondo with a fresh coat of paint.

'77 Mustang II (351W). Not a fun car to drive, even worse to replace the heater core. Complete dash disassembly. Only two screws left over. '90 Mustang.Complete dash disassembly. No screws left over. Guess I'm getting better. '97 Ford Ranger. Ford is getting better. Dash is designed to swing away from the firewall. Heater core replacement is still no fun. No screws left

Well, I've got mixed loyalties. 2019 mustang GT PP1 and 2019 Silverado LTZ Z71 Duramax. Depends upon how I feel that day, but the Mustang is soooo much fun.

Went over and looked at the car today (after turkey), and Craig is correct, the "O" is actually "D". The top does work and while it has a long option line, I didn't see anything "rare", other than the combination of power top, A/C and a 4-speed. The young owner is intent on restoring, but there's a lot of bodywork needed. I will endeavor to guide him and e

That would be the same type of stamping for Bethlehem Steel Company. Is that a galvanized panel?

That's the mfgr. stamp for Jones & Laughlin (J&L) Steel corporation. Saw that a lot when I was a kid. My dad hauled from a number of J&L plants to Flint, Dearborn, and a number of other plants throughout the north in his '58 B-61 Mack. Fond memories.

To those who knew him, and those who didn't, we lost a Corvair friend last night. I had the honor of calling Cecil my friend. Cecil enjoyed driving his yellow & white 65 Monza Convertible throughout the southeast. He enjoyed showing anyone who asked, how he managed to get his A/C to work in Florida using R134 as a coolant. Though he sold his Corvairs when he couldn't keep up with th

Registration already sent in and the check has been cashed. Campground reservations are made and wouldn't miss it if I broke my back (like in 2017). Can't wait!

Got an A-4 in Blue Angels livery outside my office. One of my favorite jet engined aircraft, though I could never fit in the cockpit with the canopy closed.

Bob, I'm in the beginning stages of re-working my Crown V8 and I'm looking at Wilwood's 3-pedal set-up. Once I get the engine back in, sans water pump, I will check steering wheel and pedal placement before I commit to the decision to cut the footwell and move my pedals forward. My gas tank is already relocated to the rear of the car, but I'm concerned about wheelhouse inte

So I do happen to have a 67 tele column with a wood wheel that I would be willing to sell for $ 2,500.00 with local pick-up in the Orlando area. Yes, this is serious.

OPGI doesn't send catalogs to addresses they can't confirm. That's the response I got when I inquired about where my catalog was. They sent me a screen grab with my address in some sort of database stating that the address couldn't be found. Don't know what database they were using, but it's obvously flawed. I'm actually a past customer, having bought some conve

Almost impossible to find NOS. Good news, there are plenty used available. Do a good job of cleaning the used one and it will last until damaged by impact.

I know there are a number of Corvette owners on this board, so I'm hoping there may be some interest. I've come into possession of a framed, signed and numbered (57 of 97), limited production color litho of artwork by one of the original GM designers, Mr. Bob Veryzer, who worked with Bill Mitchell and Pete Brock on the C2 design. If interested, PM me with your email address and I can se
