I'm trying to restore a 66 Corsa convertible. I'd like to find a wrecked late model body, that I could use some of the panels from. With in 400-500 miles around East Tennessee(37813).

I've found that peppermint oil keeps them away. Spray around the walls of the garage and around what you don't want them around. They hate it ! Paul corvairjunkie

Hi, I was wondering if It was ever thought about bringing out a Kit form of the T-5 for the corvair ? T-5.s can be gotten quite reasonably around where I live. The machine work is the Prohibiting cost. The cost of making the parts could easily be covered by selling the kits. I like the idea of an over drive. I drive Hi-way miles and don't like the RPMS of 70-80 mph. Still like my 3:55 gea

I've heard the same story about the "special" engine.In Indiana,but it was with two two barrel carbs. From the factory! He'd bought it from the dealer and said it ran like a "Striped Ass Ape".Got rid of it when the kids started comming on.

Say Thomas,saw your post and cought my eye.I used to live in Gas City(graduated 1967). been back a few times,but never saw many Corvairs running around. On the center bezel,I guess the small star washers is about the best. the ones I got from clarks comes with small black O ring looking things and they are a pain to get on. I've used this method for years.A 1/8" bit trues up the passages ,leaves a roughed up finish.I also use a 1/2 bit to open up behind the combustion chamber. I have a daily driver 140 with Turbo cam,Clarks ultiment 2bbl carb set and headers,that is driven hard and never goes above300-350 in 90degree heat.Do have lower shrouds off.and runnig 14 degree timing on regular gas(have ran the eth
