UPDATE!!! Well like I posted earlier, I opened a case through PayPal and amazingly enough I got a USPS tracking number! Now I just wait and see if it actually shows.

I paid through PayPal on April 27th, and no part or communication, ridiculous! So, I opened up a case for a refund through Paypal even though I really want the idler. Sad, just sad..

Hey all, Just checking if anyone who ordered and idler from the last run has actually gotten theirs? I have tried numerous times to contact the vendor to see where mine is with no response.

My trans and diff are all 66 as well as the pinion shaft, so I guess all I need is the shallow side adjuster?

Hey All, Ok, I'm confused! So I am putting a posi unit into my diff and it doesn't fit. The bearing on the clutch pack side sits way farther outward than the stock carrier making it impossible to get the side cup started, what? Is there a special side cup or am I missing something here?

Upon further inspection the thrust washer DOES spin on the cam a little. It's not free spinning or loose but can be rotated by hand. Thanks!

hey All, So I split the case WITHOUT removing the heads and pulled the cam. Here is what I found. The failsafe cam gear is tight on the cam up against the thrust washer with no signs of wear on the washer. What I found interesting though is there is some odd wear/damage to the block around the thrust washer groove, see pictures. The grove is fully intact and doesn't seem to be damaged.

Hey All, It's been awhile since I've posted, but I've been lurking. Anyway, bottom line is a shelled my cam gear and I really don't want to pull apart my engine unless I absolutely have to. So my question is, can a cam gear be replaced with the cam still in the engine? Anyone done it? Thanks!

It really depends on what the vehicle was "salvaged" for. I deal with BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches and other European makes that have never been in an accident but rather have been salved due to a blown engine. I have a '08 BMW M3 in the shop right now that hit a piece of steel on the interstate and ripped a hole in the oil pan and before the owner could get it shut down it cooked the motor. Being

Did another compression check and now I have 60 psi on both 4&6. Truck is low on power and barely idles. Headgasket? Burnt valve(s)? Thoughts before I tear into it? Thanks!!

Hey All, Here's a long shot. Anyone out there have a 4.3L Vin code Z TBI engine for a 1992 S10 Blazer laying around?? Lost compression in cylinders 4 & 6. Thanks!
