Really , really , really sad to see her go but i had to. She's getting picked up tomorrow night. The greatest of thanks to all of you that have helped me achieve what i have. It seems unlikely that i will possess another corvair in the near future and certainly not anything like i once had. I would still like to remain a member if there are no objections and could pop in now and

I live in england and joined this forum approx 3-4 years ago. I started with zero knowledge about corvairs. ( prolly not much more now! lol. ) Without the help of ( in particular ) matt and the other moderators / members , i would have certainly given up and just sold the car on. I wouldnt take to heart too much that is said here unless its to do with corvairs. Im english , so you know

If it's any consolation , we got tthe same trouble here in the UK. Immigration is out of control , i have seen the rise of cheap labour over the last 2 years , forcing UK citizens out of work. This year is the slowest year i have had in the last 20 years as far as earning money is concerned. Hanging on by the seat of my pants , ( credit card , overdraft ) , but i am sure it will get a

I must confess , that i do find the negative comments on my car from misinformed joe public are quite irritating , but when they see the engine bay i am greeted with lots of 'oooohhs' and 'ahhhhs'. I am considering making a board to place at the front of my car at the shows , with the first topic of nader and his B/S. I may even depict him with a noose around his neck.

Just one more note. I had a tour of the factory and can say that i was amazed at the amount of time and effort that goes in to making every model. Its truly staggering and they are HAND MADE / BUILT. You really wouldnt believe the amount of work / man hours that go into these.
