Nothing Shady Here..... The place I called said that they are pretty sure there is only the tag located in the jam on the Corvair so only a date with the CHP would get our car legally verified. The California DMV used to offer such a service but with cutbacks have put it off on the CHP. Talking with our local CHP office the next appointment date is mid December, doh. And then as stated by Matt Na

Hello All..... Would any be able to address this question. I own a 60' Corvair and the original Pink Slip is missing. The vehicle has not been registered since 1978 so it is long out of the California DMV system. It is not run in quite awhile so getting it to the DMV or CHP Office we'll be a "BIG" hassle. I have located a service that will do a vin check at my residence but

I'm for seperating into two seperate topics, For Sale Items or Wanted Items! I know the regular forum list can get some what long but what would get the best responses is to let members post there own thread in which what was for sale or wanted would be listed in title on the forum list.....

yeah I paid $450.00 for a set (shipped 1 year ago) of four that had been restored with "NO" issues! I think that price would be hard to find now! Ones with "MINOR" issues (driver quality, little rash or dings) go for around $200.00 - $250.00..... Best-O-Luck.....

So here's a question I could use some good imput on! I am looking to lower our 60' 2 Door Corvair. Is it recommended to cut in full coils, 1 or 2 coils or does it not matter if you cut quarter and half coils? It would seem to me that you would want the coil ends to sit in the original position of the perch or bucket? I haven't gotten under our Vair yet so I was just looking for som

I'd say find a day where you can remove your front seat and have at that rat's nest of a wiring harness... Also you may try to locate a wrecker with an unmolested harness to see what your's should loo

Well I just got off the phone with the owner who gave me a little information on his Rampside! It is in a town next to Mariposa which is 30 miles east of Merced, CA. off of highway 99 / 140. The truck is currently running (2) 110 engines with an automatic / toranado hubs up front and a manual out back! When originally set up he had automatics front and rear! We might go and take a look but I real
