The IRS kit requires a rear engine mount and does not use the cage I think you could use the EM cage with IRS.. It just bolts to the VW upper shock mounts.

Latest revelation! Had 4 helmets today to figure this out! Unless you weld often....any solar charged unit does need to set in the Sun for a day before using... It is amazing how smooth and linear a Split shaft Gas Turbine is at power delivery... just has to have traction. And this year the salt is great... Other piston engine LSR's need 3 miles to get to 395... Sure they were... IIRC.... the difference in an AC 140hp was the cam / dist. and extra spacers at the bottom of the barrels... to slightly lower compression..
