![]() Corvair Center Results 1 - 30 of 1727 3 years ago Am-Iron I wish I would have joined CORSA earlier on. I joined thanks to a member here, on the internet. I am now a member of CORSA, PPCC, SCC, and The V8 Registry. I have had good and bad with all of them, and there is good and bad on the net. I believe the internet forums and groups have more stories, photos etc. than the magazine, there are many more cars and parts available for sale etc. I would give Forum: Corvair Center Forum 8 years ago Am-Iron This was just after a nice spirited drive up 24 W from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek. Nothing like a turbo on the twisty mountain roads. Went from 6,000 feet to about 9,000 feet in elevation. We did some cruising around up there as well. Last years Tri State meet. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 years ago Am-Iron I have not seen many of these at all, but I have two sets. I need to sell one, but do not know the value. Any Ideas or offers? I will include 4 magnesium Wheels and 4 Halibrand aluminum 3 bar centers. These are 13 x 6 and the same wheels used on GM experimental cars like the Monza GT and the Super Spyder. I am thinking $1500 or best offer. Thank Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 years ago Am-Iron I love them both but I would choose the Daytons as they are lighter. You can get them in larger sizes 14" or 15". I am looking for single core Kelsey Hayes, or two, so I have a spare if you know of any for sale reasonably. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 years ago Am-Iron I know of four in the PPCC I own one, a Lakewood. 3 Lakewoods and 1 Monza in the club that I know of. Mine has been off the road since 1971, and almost back on the road now. I sold my black and white Lakewood Last year, it went back to Montana. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron That was at Tri State in Cripple Creek, Nice engine....it looked like. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron Lon and Linda, this is sad news. I wish that you get to do many enjoyable things in retirement. All the best, and thank you both for all that you have done over the years.

We had some really great submissions, and included all of the local chapter and Corsa events that were submitted as well! I will ship daily if you need them for gifts. For $1.00? I would have asked more than that for it if I was truly "selling" it. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron MattNall Wrote:

Maybe because they are the president of the local club and they need a title for the museum? We offered the cutaway Corvair to the CPF and they did not accept it because it had Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron Chilly Willy Wrote:

This is from Mr. Molzon as reported in this national article. " Molzon’s Corvair was garaged for over four decades, but in early 2017 he concluded that, at age 78, he wasn’t going to do anything more with the Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron It is mentioned by the builder, a respected GM designer, that that car was conveyed to a CORSA member for display at a museum. Why then has it been sold, and why is that being swept under the rug? The fact that this car is not in the CPF museum is very troubling to me. Also the fact that the wishes of this designer were completely disregarded on what he feels to be his signature in his life' Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron Sorry about the big photo. Here are some pictures from the prototype Calendar. It will change slightly and include all events that I can, and important Corvair dates. I just wanted to try out the templates so I had to order a few. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron I am doing one. I think it will be really nice. Today is the deadline for photo submissions, so it will be going to print in a few days to a week or so. You can PM me with interest or I can post it here once it is ready. I did one last year and it really turned out nice. most photos can not be posted easily here. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron We had a post not long ago with a nice dirty white interior. The person used water and Magic Eraser sponges, that was it. This one was done by Greg Renfro, Magic Eraser and water then some Lexol to soften the vinyl. Thanks Greg for the photos. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron Paulsgt Wrote:

I did a search and could not find any, what did you search? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron He said he sold them for $500 not asked $500 for them. I guess his wish came true. I am taking offers if anyone is looking. I still could not find others that sold or were for sale. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron SoloCP Wrote:

I am not sure of the market but I think they are pricey. I have not found a comparison but Davemotohead had some ratty ones for 500 or so. I will see if I can find anything, PM an offer if you like. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron Hi I have some early blue headrests, they are Highlander. I was wondering what they are worth and if anyone needs them? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron I would be in. And also for a 64 style if you end up doing those as well. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron I agree, Corvair Center does rock! A big thanks to Corvair Center for all that you do. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 years ago Am-Iron cepak Wrote:
