I have had a blue and gold one out of package and they are very hard to find! I have spent way too much on some of my Corvair collection but just had to have it! I have never seen one in the package until now! Late model stuff is rare. I think the best is yet to come in the Jay Leno Stinger!

The fittings do not use the threads to seal! It is a flare problem, check the lines carefully.

I started a brand new engine 2 weeks ago. It was new 35 years ago! Before starting, and turning over by hand, I Put on adjusting valve covers and adjusted valves one cylinder at a time. Then I prelubed oil system with a modified distributor. Before all this I re-freshed the pair of NOS carburetors and changed the fuel tank and sender , installed an electric fuel pump. Here is a 1954 Nash-Healey Le Mans Coupe I had the pleasure of working on! One of only 90! It is at the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles. That is a Rambler 6 as factory delivered!

I have installed many of these exclusively for the last couple years with my electronic pump conversions. The main issue now is finding a quality pump! Lately using the Facet 40002. Harder to mount but no issue so far.

Man I do not miss working on those in the 80's and 90's! I did a ton of timing belts and water pumps, valve cover gaskets and broken exhaust manifold bolts..... the turbos were the worst but I had experience...... There was a shop called Z World in Redondo Beach at the time and they sent me many! Only replaced 1 engine in all of them. A couple of the Turbo engines I had to pull to ge

Will need to reverse rotate the engine and modify the front of crossmember a bit among other 'things' but the major things like starter, starter location, and adapter is a done deal. Need to make a flex/drive plate and make a controller. Also will need to set the engine forward a
