I will check Lowes and see if there is info about company on package. This is a job my customer wants me to supply. If I can't find them, I'll have to build them myself. Annual usage, 60,000 pcs. Dann

I did find the Hillman nuts, but was unable to find the Hillman website. Maybe the brand is similar to Kirkland at Costco. Dann

Thanks Phil, but these are pretty small for very light duty wheels. Something in like a small cart or hand dolly. I don't know if there's a different description of these that might change the search word. Dann

Maybe someone with better skills can locate where I can buy this exact push on axle cap. I have been scouring the web for over a week and come up empty. I need a lot of these. Part hold wheel on 1/2" solid aluminum axle. Also, is has a brown finish both inside and out. It's two pieces with inside piece some kind of spring steel that is heat treated. I have found similar ones but t

Contact Craig. He makes fuse panels for Corvairs. Tell him what you want and he'll build it for you. Direct bolt on. Very reasonable prices. Dann

If the IDM gets moisture in it, the symtoms would be the same as what you described. At least on a 7.3 I've replace my IDM a couple of times now. Dann

What is the aircraft you have parked there? Almost looks to be a Long Ez, but I think the landing gear is too wide. Dann

Simply beautiful! Something went wrong when he refurbished his latches. Both ramp and tailgate. I have a feeling he assembled them wrong. Dann

Rubber is about 1 inch wide. About 60 inches long and will be gluing to MGA frame. It is to seal for body installation. Thank you for the compliment Mel. When making reproduction parts, it's alway a crap shoot whether one can recoup the expense of time and labor. If I were to count on income from related parts, I would be broke. I do some parts as a hobby/passion. Some items one can break even, while others will sit on shelf for a long time selling just a few here and there. There have been many great id

I agree. With the width being a tad wider, a larger radius can be produced around the bends, thereby having a stronger part less likely to fracture. Dann

Wow, this is an old thread. I have to say that I am very happy with Clark's rocker arms. When I fired the motor, she ran very smooth, no clatter, no noise. Sweet running engine. The rockers rock! Dann

Not to highjack, but is there a way to locate the original holes where the cardboard screws into the support piece? The verticle piece behind seat back. Also, what is the best way to bend the cardboard around the radius by the rear window edges with creasing it. Dann

Yah, I know Dave. Thought I'd post them here first since there are some dropped Corvairs out there. Searched but couldn't find another set out there anywhere. They will mount on most cars. Don't know what ohm's they are but I bought them in the late 60's early 70's. Dann
