A lot of that feedback was from sellers so he was buying more than selling on Ebay...like I said not one buyer gave feedback on a rebuilt trans or differential...he is using the listings to get potential buyers to call his number on the auction and try to sell it off ebay...that way you can't get your money back if there's a problem...Nick

Lee initially I was just taking the car down to Delaware to have Dave Ziegler fix some transmission leaks. When I got it on Rt 295 it slipped trying to go into drive so I turned around and went home and added some fluid. Now the car won't shift into drive. Since there have been leaks including a bad torque converter leak for some time I figured I would try to look for a rebuilt transmission.

I can't find one buyer who gave him feedback on purchasing a rebuilt transmission or differential on Ebay. I see he has bought some Corvair parts and one order from Mike's Corvair Parts in Calif. but not one feedback about what he has listed for sale right now...Nick Gravino, Burlington,NJ

I saw a guy listing rebuilt Corvair manual and powerglide transmissions as well as rebuilt differentials on Ebay. He lists a Buy-It-Now price or make offer. The name is Autobohn Engines in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I called him about a rebuilt powerglide transmission and he was pushing me buying it off Ebay at a cheaper price and no core charge off Ebay. I am hesitant about sending a Paypal payment

I forgot to give you guys an update on the Shriner car I bought from a guy in New York. I spent a couple months going over what I wanted and what it needed done to be a good driver for parades. I am not re-painting it for now. Took it to Dave Ziegler over the winter and he did a lot of work on it for me. Mostly PG leaks, new aluminum oil pan,new shocks and rear springs, blower fan bearing, oil fill

Yes...I carefully removed all the green paint to preserve the aluminum finish then polished it with Wenol. I was going to cut it out a bit to install an aftermarket CD player radio but after I removed the paint it looked too good to cut so I bought another plate that had some bad scratches and dents in the areas I was cutting out...Nick Gravino

I also put my Jewel Blue'61 Lakewood in the Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey at Point Pleasant yesterday. Frank Schmitt brought his white '63 Monza convertible and Bob Marlow brought his Rampside. We carefully placed them on the floor for exhibition along with a total of 9 Corvairs(5 more will be arriving today) and will be on display until November. The museum is along the docks

I just bought a Corvair on Ebay last week...paid the $500 deposit through Paypal but the seller did not want to complete the transaction through Paypal as it would cost him about $300...I would not wire money or send him a check without any immediate title transfer so we agreed to let my carrier pay him the balance when he picks up the car tomorrow...Nick Gravino, Burlington,NJ
