Currently have Clark's medium red carpet that is showing it's age. It's fading, mostly in the back floor area. I have A can of SEM, firethorn red vinyl/carpet paint and I was wondering if anyone has an experience with using it? Thanks, Kerry..

Since this a new Clark's box, I would call them to verify the proper procedure for setting up the box and for how it should 'feel'. Where there any instructions included with the unit?

Is there any possibility that the diff/transmission might have Gl-5 oil in it? It's very important that ONLY gl-4 oil be used. gl-5 will cause issues in shifting that will only get worse with time. How do I know? I accidentally used GL-5 in my Spyder and over time I had more and more problems with second gear, both entering and exiting. I switched to Amsoil with GL-4 and within a hundred

Consistent, repeatable failure that occur at 275° sounds like a failure in the unit itself. I suppose there might be a problem in the gauge....but my money is on the sending unit. Did you buy it from Clark's or from the company itself? If you have the original sending unit you try swapping it back in and seeing if the problem is resolved.

I've noticed mine will occasionally do a 'reset'. I haven't tried to figure it out yet, but I suspect a bad connection...where is another story altogether..! It repeats the initial turn on test sequence once then seems to work ok after that. It MAY do it more often and I'm simply not noticing it... The next time yours acts up, try giving the temperature gauge a fir

The proper operation of the 'trunk' latch is as follows. When turning the key, the main latch will release with a bit if a snap and the lid will move up until the safety prevents further movement. At that point, at least on my 63, you must push the lid down a bit to turn the key further to move the safety latch out of the way and open the lid. You can manually push down on the '

If you find the blower motor fuse has blown, and after replacing it, it blows again, try checking to be sure the blower motor dropping resistor asm. that lives in the right hand defroster duct near the top hasn't worked loose and become grounded! Great place for an intermittent short that blows the fuse when hitting bumps...

I have a dry, never used, group 53 battery. Does someone know the correct way to fill it and charge it? I tried Googling and got conflicting instructions.

Originally took a group 53 battery. Currently constructive from unobtainium. Does anyone know if the 29NF battery will fit? It seems to be a bit wider and maybe taller. I think the opening is wide enough but the battery tray looks narrow. I can 't find a 29NF locally to actually measure one and I suspect that there may be variations between manufacturers..? Thanks

I have 3 of the 557A batteries and 4 of the Z59 late models. Hoping to turn them into cash for Ben Dexter and his sister as they deal with the recent loss of Bonnie and less recently Harold Jr.” (Please direct all questions

I just wanted to add a comment on what mikeycee posted earlier. In my humble opinion he wasn't far off the point. The picture I posted is a screen capture of the real time air traffic over the united states from about 4 days ago. At that moment there were 116,000 flights around the world, over 10,000 just in the united states. AND that was after a 7% drop in air traffic from a week earli

You need to identify what flywheel/clutch plate throw out bearing and pivot you are using. There are differences between the EM and LM assembles that can cause what you describe if there is a miss-match. One other thing to check is to be sure that the input shaft is not binding in the pilot bearing. The pilot bearing can sometimes be damaged when installing it....
