Yes I had seen that Scott but the applications notes say it is really racing only. That is why I had wondered how the airplane guys could get to 2850cc safely (Well safely enough for flying). Looks like Clarks new full fin cylinders have thicker walls than stock ones.

Yes a kit that has been tested. I just found this link. Looks like a pretty good start for a turbo setup.

The airplane guys are flying 2850cc corvair engines. Anyone know if there are 2850cc cylinder/90mm piston and ring kits for automotive use? (without the dished pistons)

If not already mentioned LM wheel well lips that meet up to the Clarks lower patch panels. And the base corners of the windshield areas.

Interesting, I"m pretty sure I looked at that red LM vert in spring 2010 at Gary H.'s house near Peterborough, ON, Canada. (I remember the odd location of the front bumper guards)

Hi Mike, Did you have to get the hubs turned for those rotors to fit? If yes do you remember the final diameter? Cheers, Brian

Thanks guys. I found a vendor Inline Tube that has what looks like the correct studs and a washer kit listed on pg. 119 of one of their pdf catalogs. (Not to take away from John's or any other Corvair vendors sales, just possibly another source) I'm going to order a set tomorrow and see if they work.

Update. Went out the the folks place today and found a cross shaft with a good stud and a couple of front trans crossmembers with good studs Question: Are the studs for the 66-69 front trans crossmember to cross shaft the same as the 65 stud circled below? Brian

needpart Hi all, Clarks is out of stock of the "Right Clutch Linkage Stud" C3167 #19 on pg. 114. Anyone know of another source or bought one from another vendor? If not does anyone have 1 (Or 2) rust free ones for sale? (Moto?) Cheers, Brian Pics from a previous thread...

Wow...Cool trip...Your half hour production was better than anything I've seen on TV lately and saves me $10-15k doing the trip myself. (tu) Thanks!

Hi all. These rusty units weren't attached to the trans-axles. Anyone know which trans-axles they are for? Short one has a shaft length of 21". The two longer ones are 24 3/8". I'm about to put together a '66 Cdn. 140HP with a 66' Cdn. 4-speed. Can I use either of these? Can I use a 110HP pressure plate?

Bummer! Well at least we all know now what the clutch disc looks like that Clark's warns about in their on-line catalog pg 110 "There are two types of clutch disks with riveted centers - One works one doesn't!"
