Tow Dollies are designed to tow a vehicle loaded facing forward. Period.
The tow dolly manufacturers, U-Haul, eTrailer.com, and others all point this out.

bnc Forum: Corvair Center Forum 7 weeks ago didget69 Nice work - I've got one of the same IECO 2bbl manifolds (not installed) & have looked into exhaust heat at plenum - like a VW.
bryan in NC Forum: Corvair Center Forum 7 weeks ago didget69 Most muffler shops in my area that are 'quality' shops can install an aftermarket cat, even with thin washcoat, that will last their 24 month / 24k mile warranty period.
I was the recent 'recipient' of a cat hack-attack,on a Honda Element (top 10 candidate for a cat-ectomy...) and local shop replaced cat with aftermarket for $300 installed with 24/24 warranty - and I'm Forum: Corvair Center Forum 7 weeks ago didget69 Flares from Volkswagen Rabbit (Mk 1), or ~1995 Nissan Stanza are an option...
And the Rabbit flares are inexpensive - better aftermarket following than some other car options.

One turbo EM car was built in Norway, and was painted White with Blue & orange stripes. No flares.
Car his brother built was Blue EM with aftermarket Ricer bolt-on flares pain Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 months ago didget69 I'm looking at this option for use on a Corvair engined dune buggy -

Bryan Forum: Corvair Center Forum 1 year ago didget69 MB 616/617 diesels only need one battery.
If you're bent on installing a diesel into the back of a Corvair, use the VW 1.9TD/TDi engine, and use a VW Type 2 Bus or VW Type 1 Gearbox.
Adapters & flywheels are readily available, the VW TD will provide plenty of power, and parts are cheap.
Use a slip-tube axle assembly concept like Datsun used on the 240Z...

Bryan Forum: Corvair Center Forum 1 year ago didget69 I use these style isolators for Facet ztyle fuel pumps. And mount the pump under the car, out of the engine bay.

bryan Forum: Corvair Center Forum 1 year ago didget69 ... the Triumph throttle bore diameters are comparable in size to the Weber triples. (46IDA3C)
Bore size (depending on year model of bike used & whether used on 885 Triple or 955/1050 Triple) were anywhere from 41mm to 46mm bore, with the 955i & 1050I variants running 46mm bores. The Weber triple was typically found in 46mm bore, but 40mm & 50mm variants could be had.
The Trium Forum: Corvair Center Forum 1 year ago didget69 If I were to build an FI setup similar to the pair of triple Weber throttle bodies, I'd be looking to use a pair of the TBs from a Triumph Triple motorcycle as a starting point.
