You mean like a rollback wrecker? With his rear axle placement, it should not matter.

What have I done!? Posted by: Tony Trans Am () Date: February 11, 2021 06:45AM I have done the few little jobs on my 65 Monza 110 PG and whilst putting the engine back in lining it up on the bell housing and doing up the bolts something went pop, it felt like the splines just adjusted and found their place, but now it's back together it is not selecting gears. When I start the engine th

Agreed, after compression check. Rings are not fully seated yet. Specially if no 1/2 throttle blips were done. Ringed seal will continue to get better with time. One cylinder at 40 p.s.i

Take all the spark plugs out. Which one(s) are black and or wet? Post picture if you can. Do a compression check with throttles wide open. Post numbers. Head and jug from offending cylinder(s) can be serviced in the car without removing engine. Numbers and test from above will determine where to go. You can have good compression numbers and still have a oil control ring scraper(s) flipped ou

I agree with some others. The hardest part for me to find is the part I know I have 10 of, and was in my hand 15 minutes ago.

In my some what limited trailer towing experience I've used some OLD GUYS suggestions and always done well. If your back bumper doesn't lower between 1"- 2", STOP. Re arrange your payload till it does. This is w

Well it's my speculation that the snap ring got dislodged on the shaft, and the shaft got knocked forward when it didn't get properly engaged with the torque converter upon reassembly. Then the front pump drive washer stripped the splines on the partially engaged shaft. How the front pump still built pressure is beyond me.

Pretty sure that shafts splines are tore up. If it slides all the way out, it will be replaceable without removing trans. I've just never removed on from that direction.
