Kinda Laguna'ish and SS'ish at the same time. Me love some orphan 1973-78 A body GM products. My '74 454 Big Block SS El Camino was a tire burner. edit: spelling

Lots of fond memories of my Dad's 1959 348 three on the tree El Camino. I can still see those coolest ever valve covers from when I was just a kid. But still to this day I prefer the 1960 tail lights, eyebrow trim, and fins.

Power steering was on the to do list for SuperVair. Had most of the part needed for an install ready to go. S/V has a universal application IDIDIT column in it already. The IDIDT was really classy with tilt and all the modern parts. epowersteering.com is the company that Arch used for P/S parts. They have everything for purchase separately if you build your own. It is also the c

Getting ready to stab a mock up power pack in my racecar. Setting up for short course with 3.27 R&P with three speed. Last pass was 3.55...we were running out of gear at 7K rpm. Also need to see if Kostich exhaust logs fit around cradle. It must be a roller for pre-inspect at November E/M event. Schrum II motor goes to Paulo this week for freshening up.

When I added Gem it raised my yearly premium by six bucks. That was with SuperVair as my anchor vehicle at $360 per year. Now S/V is gone...they are sending a pro rated $256 refund check. I know what is next (yellow zonker) but I haven't picked it up yet.

Thank you...what got me on that was Tom K ran propane in landspeed. His record was grandfathered after gasoline and fuel categories split. F/CBGC is a gasoline only class...propane has lower BTU's that gasoline.

Used the existing threaded holes. Found good bolts in my metric stash. Set it up for the entire power pack. Motor only needed...more holes later.

rnch...you might consider power steering. It has already been done by V8 guy Paul Beck. This is the company that supplied the parts kit.

From the SCTA-BNI website today: World Finals: RAINED OUT After only one day of great racing - impound full of vehicles - two rain storms (one on Tues and one on Wed night) has flooded the salt beyond recovery. Workers are packing up equipment and leaving the salt today. Next years Speedweek is a cant miss event. I expect ten cars going after the 500 mph mark. Not to ment

We have mostly decided to stay in Paso Robles for the moment. If you know me...that could change at anytime because CA is so bad. But in the mean time I need a tractor to control my two acres of dirt. I bought the biggest Husqvarna 54" lawn tractor...but it's just a mower. These three are local on Craigslist...I like the Satoh in the first ad. Mostly because it's only $4K and comes
