It could be that the kit I got just omitted the correct bracket. I have installed numerous Pertronix. I wish I had installed just one more!

Jim I think some of the issues are that Comp Cams bought it but like me, they dont know anything about it either. The tech guys just try to look up info and have no real time experience. There is so.e guy over at Crane that could fix this in his sleep but not over at FAST.

Just replaced the tires and wheels. Date code on the tires that were on it were from 1988. So this is essentially its first drive since bringing it home.

I removed the points, condensor and wires as instructed. Pivot point post? Not sure what that is but there is no s shaped bracket. Ill snap a pic tomorrow. Am I mistaken that the module should show red when there is power to it? Does it need to be turning to energize? So I began the 30 minute install on the FAST XR-700 on Sunday afternoon. I purchased it because of all the positive feedback on it and how they are bullet proof.
