Hey all! I have a 1962 Corvair with a motor from a 1965 that I put in with a great deal of help from Caveman Pete and some of the great fellas at the Detroit chapter corvair club. Thanks to some amazing help from the fellas over at the Detroit Area Corvair Club we were able to swap the motor in my 62 monza for a great running 140 from a 1965. We put a new clutch plate in and after reassembly in the following days I found the clutch went right to the floor. The guys were nice enough to come back and help me pull the motor again. Thanks for the reply. I have found a few places online that seem to sell longblock rebuilds like this place for instance. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this.
