PM sent. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 2 days ago Eido I appreciate the generous offer but I need a 1965 or 1966 set of carbs based on the application. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 3 days ago Eido Anyone got a couple of Grade A, rebuilt 1965 or 1966 primary carbs available to sell to me?
It’d be much appreciated. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 9 days ago Eido I saw some pics of this van. While I’d love to get some of its bones, the van looks to be in reasonably good condition and certainly restorable. Someone should step in and save this thing before it’s too late. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 10 days ago Eido Working on my truck today and I’m really unhappy with the state of my steering wheel. Anyone have a spare steering wheel in fairly good condition that would fit my 64 Rampy? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 11 days ago Eido I’m looking for a rear chrome bumper for a 1964 FC. Scratches ok. Doesn’t need to be perfect but I’d prefer it to be straight. Less rust is best.
Any help appreciated. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 13 days ago Eido I have had the pleasure of speaking with Donald and he in an incredible guy. His knowledge and ability to recall detail is very impressive.
I have also gone to Audrain in Newport to talk cars. The curators loved my Rampside and invited me to bring it to Newport. First I’ve got to get it around the block, which I told them as well. But those are legit car people. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 18 days ago Eido I’ve got a complete 110hp engine out of a 64 FC. I’ve been holding it in case I want to go back to spec on my 64 Rampside and swap out the 140hp I’ve got in there now. But for a good offer, I might consider letting it go. I can only run one engine at a time. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 20 days ago Eido Ordered block plates from Ted Brown and they showed up at my door 48h later. I was stunned at the speed. And they look great. Can’t wait to get them on my truck this weekend. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 23 days ago Eido Wow - just got a couple emails from these folks and they are pretty rude. Perhaps they think they’re sitting on gold, because they sure are acting like it. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 24 days ago Eido Definitely not worth $20k given that they don’t run, have no titles and one has run off somewhere; but there’s a best offer option. There is some value there. It would be helpful to see more photos. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 24 days ago Eido Let’s rescue these trucks - including that 64. I’m willing to go in on these trucks with others. I want that fawn steering wheel. That 64 should be restored and put back on the road.
Let’s do this. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 24 days ago Eido Using home made plates now. Looking to upgrade to something a little nicer/ more professional. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 24 days ago Eido Exactly, Frank. I didn’t want to buy a square piece of scrap metal. I want a quality block plate.
Just found these: Forum: Corvair Center Forum 25 days ago Eido Aside from what Clark’s sells, are there any other good vendors for block plates for the secondary cards on a 140hp engine?
Thx Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago Eido Anyone have positive experience they can share? What did you do? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago Eido So no Monza, ok.
But Impala and Biscayne will probably work? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago Eido I have a 64 Rampside. Will any of the following steering wheels fit my truck:
64 Impala
64 Biscayne
64 Chevy II
64 Nova
64 Monza
Any others?
Thanks! Forum: Corvair Center Forum 4 weeks ago Eido I’m not sure my truck was used as a camper or not - but it is possible. We know that the truck started it’s commercial life in California as a white exterior, deluxe fawn interior vehicle. Who knows? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 weeks ago Eido Installing the ramp door was a challenge because the previous owner cut off the latches on either side. I’m not sure why or why the plan is - but thankfully the old latches were still attached by a thread that a skilled welder was able to fix for me. New rampside door is perfectly straight and functional now. It’s a mechanical miracle, really.
I’ll post photos when it’s a little warmer out. Forum: Corvair Center Forum |
