And the man I am getting it from has just called and said it's not getting fuel from the tank. He's telling me that there is a electric fuel pump in the tank and it making no sound of running. He is convinced that there is an electric pump that was from the factory and I'm not remembering t Forum: Corvair Center Forum 5 weeks ago 48kb1panel 10. Octane additive? Hi Everyone. I was reading some in Bob helt's book about running on regular gas. Sounds like a few things to do to curb the detonation issues but aren't there octane additives that can be used?or do they tear your motor up as bad as the low octane fuels do? We can get 91 octane here in Iowa but it's still unleaded. And now there pushing the ethanol crap but vairs don't burn C Forum: Corvair Center Forum 6 weeks ago 48kb1panel 11. For 3 years. I was told as we all are,When I bought the car it belonged to a little old lady that
Had passed away and the family was selling the car to pay for her funeral. I'm sure you all have heard similar s Forum: Corvair Center Forum 8 weeks ago 48kb1panel 23. These pics were from when I first brought it home. Not sure about the wheel covers. Forum: Corvair Center Forum 2 months ago 48kb1panel So that being said by 67 airvair, if the rest of the corsa options are on the car and a correct 140 was found it would be a correct corsa. Or still a clone and not carry the value of a original corsa ? Forum: Corvair Center Forum 2 months ago 48kb1panel Thanks you guys I love learning from the guru's. This all started with me looking to buy a car 1100 miles from me and being told it's a corsa. But then Im told it has 4 carbs with a 110 so I immediately think something is wrong. So has it been cloned or what? I think maybe so. But it's a nice car from what I can tell. So what to do? Forum: Corvair Center Forum |
