Rick Vesco's Turbinator II today! We'll see what they run tomorrow morning for a AVERAGE and most likely a new Record!

A few others there as well... Will we see 510???

We owe it all to the Vesco patriarch Don...may he rest in peace.

Died during a crash caused by chute failure...congrats to the family.

Eric.. it's not about HP!!

At Bonneville it's TRACTION and aerodynamics!

This year the salt is as good as it gets... like Asphalt.... normally if your wheels only slip 6% it is considered great!

Aero: These streamliners only take 500 hp to hold them at 500 mph.... but how to accelerate to 500 is a BIG WALL!!

From the SCTA-BNI website today:

​​​World Finals: RAINED OUT

After only one day of great racing - impound full of vehicles - two rain storms (one on Tues and one on Wed night) has flooded the salt beyond recovery. Workers are packing up equipment and leaving the salt today.


Next years Speedweek is a cant miss event.

I expect ten cars going after the 500 mph mark.

Not to mention our three Corvairs will be there.

absolutely! In an in-car video one thing I noticed was the rate that the speed increase slowed down the faster the car went
