Joel - someone lent me the "tools" once - Didn't work that well so I made my own.

I also made a slip fit set up for shimming the LM axle spindles like motohead made. Works great.

So, after honing the bearing for a slip fit get the correct shim adjustment, do you use that bearing or another to press fit on?

The honed bearing is now a tool for shim selection, you hang it with your diff tools, you press a new bearing on the shaft after you have used the "New Tool bearing" to get the correct shim selected.

Makes perfect sense they share the fluid between them so more to spare if there's a leak.
