Me....Me....I have.
I've put this one on several EM's and a LM and they all work flawlessly.

That's a rebranded Rostra. The one I used works well on my Malibu but I used the electronic not the cable version. I have another waiting to be installed on my Ultravan.

Wow.

Did a cruise control in my 69 Monza coupe about 1975. Sold by J.C.Penney at the same time they offered the lifetime J. C Penney battery
Used both for many years.

Not a fan of cruise control for long drives. Find my eyes anticipate hills better than the cruise control.

Does the Dakota system hook up to the Corvairs smaller 5/8" speedometer fitting?

You're probably "that guy" who can stop faster than ABS too? grinning smiley

No way
ABS has helped me out a couple of times both slick roads and towing a trailer. With a trailer accident, I just slammed on brakes and trusted that ABS Worked great.

Guess I should look at an adapive cruise control. Don't like the cruise control on 2015 Camry. Have not taken her 2018 Camry on a long trip. Just got 2018 Volt last weekend for my daily driver.

Neither Anita or I like the lane departure warning system on the 18 Camry. Too many false alarms.

Anyone can stop faster than ABS. I've seen more than one report that proved it on various vehicles with variuos tires. Just locking up the wheels always stopped in a shorter distance than ABS. ABS did better than attempting a modulated stop mainly when the left wheels were on a different surface than the right. I've never read anything about ABS and trailers. It does help maintain control while stopping which is the main thing it's supposed to do.
