I think the chrome tips usually look terrible unless it's a turbo factory style tip. I saw a lifted truck the other day that had a tip that was at least 14" diameter. Don't remember if it was chrome. It was so big it took me a second to figure out what it was.

How about stainless tips? Does that start the aggravation?

I think a couple of these on my Monza, which has dual exhaust, would look cool. Even has the Chevy Logo!

I don't like the rolled ends. Anti-performance looking.

ROFLOL ! ! !
Now that be FUNNY right there!

Carholic4life said,
"IF you can clearly see the tailpipe and the chrome tip, it does look stupid at best."
Now I can TOTALLY agree with that statement!
Chrome tips look good if that is ALL that you see.

That's really hideous Dave. You need to add at least twice as many and maybe some pointing down and straight back also.
At least they will fill the engine with water in a heavy rain.

That rolled end is the turbulator GM designed for the 2018 Silverado to increase the throaty sound and evacuate the exhaust pipe by developing a low pressure zone at the tip.grinning smiley

Those would go good with about 12 bumper guards.

After a good rain, they could also water your lawn when you start the car up.

As I was about to go out for a cruise tonight I thought of this post as I was looking over the car for bird droppings. Noticed the rusty looking tail pipe hanging out from under the rear and thought maybe a chrome tip might be in order, got to look better than a rusty pipe. Whats a stock Corvair pipe 1 1/4" ? Never seen one that small. Maybe have to upsize to 4"

I guess the gases stay cool until they split. Then all of that power scorches the tips.
