Looking around to see what 110 heads are available to convert this to a 110. Might be the best option for me with this engine.

Willing to trade the heavily modified 110 heads I have for a set of 110 heads that have be through a valve job by a reputable vendor I know.

95 heads would be your best bet with only minor changes then you could run 87 octane fuel and have the same performance as a 110.

So the trade is now for a set of 95 heads that have been through a valve job by a reputable vendor I know.

How "Heavily Modified" are these 110 heads?
I'd be tempted to get them modified a lil more and have the 110 nose milled off and make 95 heads out of them.

I don't see it without using shorter connecting rods since one fin has been machined off. Not looking to make a unique configuration.

I've taken one fin off of a couple of sets of heads! With that much off you may have to shorten pushrods but that is all. I think I read they were 41cc? with a stock bore that comes out to about 10.7-1 compression ratio. That is just a little high even with adding a Singh groove. Maybe if the little nose was machined off some would make them usable. 10-1 is doable with a Singh groove and still run 87 octane.
I would have to look at the heads again to be sure but as you know anything is possible.

Again, it would be a unique engine. Something I do not want to delve into. That is why I want to trade them off for a set of 95 or 110 heads.

I stopped in to see Caveman Pete. Nice visit and also picked up some parts. One of the parts is a 95 hp head. So I have half the set I need. Engine will remain on the market until I start the conversion to a 95 hp engine.

Well the 95 head has a bad guide so it won't be used. I have a set of 110 heads, distributor and carbs that will be set aside to convert the turbo engine to a 110 engine. To be done at a later date.

Bump. Still have this engine. Haven't done a thing with it since I stopped cleaning it up a few years ago.. Just completely covered and secured a tarp to the engine.
