The car rolls
Posted by: whitey ()
Date: July 11, 2018 02:55PM

Yesterday I was able to get my engine to smooth out a bit with a bit of carb adjustments. I could see no reason not to put it in gear and see what happens.

To my amazement and delight, after 8 years of on and off work, the car drove forward and backwards on its on power. It even stopped!

I drove it around the block with a huge smile on my face. It up and down shifted as well.

I now fee confident to continue on with the project!!

That's great, Ken!
Huge difference and a lot of work between those two photos smileys with beer

Be sure and check your differential for plenty of lube before you drive it further.

Let's see a larger photo of that engine bay, please.
