Early crankshaft number is 5607. Maybe you're reading it incorrectly?

Might be a 62-63 Spyder crank, they have a different number than the other EM cranks.

My search of Corvair Center shows a likely Spyder crankshaft number of 7293. I'll seek to verify that later in the Tech Guide.
