New and Thank you all

I just like to say thank you to the lot of Corvair lovers here.

Nearly 2 years ago I traded a Harley for a Corvair Sand Rail, 140 Corvair powered.

Started with a 650 CMF Holley, flooding, flaming throwing, choking and so on.

I had found this form and started following, searching and reading. Well all said and done, with all the advise and insight here, I have done a complete rebuild. I have had learned so much along the way and just wanted to say thank you. Do not know why I was shy about it. I guess just to focused on finding advise and turning the wrenches on the 1963 140 HP motor.

Line bored
Push Rods
Mild Cam
Heavy Duty Vale springs
Pistons and Rings
Hi Proformance Oil Pump
Distributor Points and Condenser
The usual things.

Runs real good and once again Thanks.

That is great you were able to get help here. So have many of us thru the years.
Your 140HP engine is 1965-1969. 1963 only had 145 inch engines and were (I believe) 84, 102, or 150HP. Pictures?

Are you still running 650 Holley? It might be sort of big but you do report it's running well. Is it mechanical or vacuum secondary operation?

Do you run it on the street or offroad?

Corvair differential and transmission or VW? Regular or reverse rotation?

Sounds like a lot of fun.
