Fuel Splashback

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if anyone has ever experienced. For some reason the last couple times I've filled up, when I refill the fuel tank it keeps splashing back at me. This isn't just at near full condition. The tank is near empty, and unless I fill suuuuper slow, I get splash back. Then today after work I went out and there was a big puddle of gas that had leaked down from the gas cap. It's almost like there's a big air bubble in the tank or something. First 2 fill ups after being in storage for the winter.....

Newbee question. Turn the nozzle 180° from what you've used to. Insert as far as you can. Pull back about an inch. (Easy boys. Pump the brakes) If still no go, your tank vent tube is plugged.

Interesting. All new tank and hoses from a full restoration last year, and no problems until now.....

Did the hose to the vent tube get kinked when putting the fuel tank back in?

I don't think so cause I drove it all year last year with no issues. Wondering if I can snake it.....
