Corsa light switch removal
Posted by: gnrand ()

I have been trying to remove my dash and the light switch has been my latest obstacle. I know about the button on the inside top of the switch and I have been pressing it but it will not release. Any tricks that I might try.
Thanks
Jeff

Wiggle it and the know as you press and pull.

Also, try taping a dime to your finger.

Also try not pressing it all the way down. Try different pressures on the button. And wiggle!

And start from the headlights on position of the switch.

PS - In case this is important, removing the pull handle will leave the lights on. I have found a few recalcitrant ones over the years. After you push down on the top button - the dime helps a lot - push inward slightly to take any preload off before pulling on the handle.
