Limited photos and information. Not sure if it is an AC car with a tele Column (looked at it again and it appears to be a Grant wheel).

Wow. No one keeps their word any more. I arranged to go see the car today and he sold it after telling me he would hold it for me.

joelsplace,

I had that happen to me as well. Offered $1000 more than what was advertised by an older lady in La Jolla, Ca. for an ordinary '66 Monza convertible. Car had been with the family since new (this was in May, 1992). Car was practically show time. Lady said she would wait for me while I went to the nearest bank to retrieve the money (cash only sale). When I returned, lady sold the car to some jerk for twice what she advertised it for ($4500). In other words, she received 9 grand from her down street neighbor. Man, was I pissed.

Dan,
That wasn't me that was Chet. I was griping about the current car that I had a deal on. I guess the guy that bought it may have offered more but he didn't mention it. My word is worth more that money to me. If I was still entertaining offers I would say so the guy should have at least called me and given me a shot at it. Like "Hey someone just called and offered to Paypal me the money. Since I told you I would hold it are you willing to Paypal the money?"

I would of loved to
see the "body tag" on
this car. I imagine
if this was a true A/C
corsa it would be very
rare bird indeed. Sorry
you missed this one
Joe ??? that sucks.

There were no factory AC Corsas or AC 140's in 1965.

Seller probably only has limited Corvair knowledge. Ad said all original but I see several things that aren't correct for a 65. Still likely a great deal.
