My my old 167ci 140 engine was good with .052 main jets I'm trying to decide what size jets to use for a 3.0 liter with a 304 cam. ?

If the jet number .052 means .052" diameter, then figuring in a 9.5% increase
in displacement, the new jet would have to have a 9.5% increase in area to flow
the same for the larger engine, and then the new diameter would be .054", although you may need to go up to .055", as .054" ends up very slightly smaller
than exactly 9.5% more area.
