Aluminum push rod tubes???

I was just watching a GM valve servicing video on You-tube.

The announcer spoke of removing the aluminum push rod drain tubes.


Have I missed something??

Several Corvair suppliers (Including my GoVair line) have offered aluminum pushrod tubes. This may have been an engine that had them -

Those tubes on EBay are really light compared to the metal used in the originals. They are machined perfectly too. The maker is great and will even make partial sets if needed. I had half a set and will order the other half soon.
