Tach signal I guess that means the distributor signal? I have no tachometer in my dash and wanted to be sure. I would love to have a safety setup like that. We did have a guy burn his car up because the pump kept pumping and he forgot to cut the switch completely in the panic of the moment and it kept fueling the fire.

Yes. My rampside doesn't have a tach either, I just ran a wire to the distributor.

From their site: "Interfaces to either 12v (or 6V for 12003-6V) square wave (aftermarket ignition) or factory “coil –“ tach signals" "

Wow thanks, what a tip, if it works. Just ordered one, since I am already running a relay its only one more wire. If someone posted this before I sure missed it. This part has been around longer that this group. I'm surprised the vendors don't offer it or maybe I just missed it. Gee, a Porsche part in our Vair's for under $20.

Matt, I think this is an FAQ item if its not there already.

Is there a socket/pigtail available for this relay?

Thanks!

These relays in modern cars are in the fuse box. So no wiring or plug for them.

The $64 setup is basically you buying the $20 relay plus everything else you will end up needing to get haha.

No need for anything fancy, unless you want fancy. I already have a relay connected with simple spade connectors. So I will just swap the wires and add one more for the trigger connection.

Does anyone know of a reliable in-tank fuel pump that would not require a pressure regulator for a turbo? Cutting holes in my undercarriage for an external is not appealing. Thanks

David Herrin at The Source used to carry these (I don't know if he still has these), I had one on my car and it worked slick, and did not need a fuel pressure regulator. If not, you could make one. The pump is a GM one for carbureted vehicles that were used sometime in the 1970's, and David mounted
these on the end of the stock fuel inlet in the tank, on the end of a flexible
hose, so it could give a little, and laid sideways on or near the bottom of the tank. the wires went through the fuel level sender just like the fuel level sender does... no cutting of anything, and although the pump is slightly
audible when the engine is off, it cant be heard with the engine running.
It was a little pricey, but I didn't care, it ended my fuel pump problems once and for all!!

Here's a link on how to do it if you cant find or buy the conversion kit:

I think this is the pump, its "in tank" for carb'd engines.
