ROPAL Dual Exhaust Ports

These were in the trunk of my new wagon. I hadn't heard of ROPAL before. I wasn't even sure these were Corvair-related, but some searching on this site indicated there might be some interest, at least historical, in seeing them. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with them, but I do need exhaust work, they do fit, and they are nicely made - solid cast aluminum. I also attached an old ad for them.

Those will look good on your wagon. Ropal made some very cool accessories, would love to find an oil pan. Few years ago I found the center gauge dash pod.

"Easily installed in five minutes" .....

Yeah, R-i-i-i-g-h-t!

Well, maybe just screwing them up to the lower body. Certainly not making 'em functional with exhaust pipes running thru 'em.

For a wagon, there is the problem of the "mouse hole" that Chevrolet provided with a half section in the grille and the other half in the lower body valence.

For a coupe it would be definitely "retro-cool" no doubt.

You should make some repros of them!
