I do like these cars.

If you would please share your opinions, or post links to other cars for sales that you may like.

Thanks.

Opinions? OK.
Car #1 says CORSA. Transmission says NOT.

Car #2 I like. But I like 23000 more. For 23 it should have the wheel mouldings.
I see the Corvair Society of America decal (I like that).

Car #2 looks like some kind of a "burn" job. I like it for 2350. Trim tag states 65 Corsa convert. Vin tag states it's a 65 Monza coupe.
NO THANKS.

$2350 ? ? ?
Uh Tim, that ad says $23,500 ! ! !

And as for the first car, they can call it rose if they want to, but by any other name, it is known as . . . . . .

PINK ! ! !

Years ago a friend of mine had a Mercedes 390E-16V that same color.
He was always telling the ladies that he owned a "Champagne Mercedes", we would all laugh and tell them, "uh no, he has a PINK car!"
He hated us!grinning smiley

Run from the Convertible. Why would you post a pair of photos that show one plate has been altered? Goofy.

The seller might have no clue. Very clearly a VIN swapped car but the chassis seems to be a legit Corsa 180.

So from that statement I would understand that the red convertible in Sarasota is a fake? And the altered plates are between the vin tag and fisher body tags. as both shots of the body tag look the same.

Thank you.

And my point of the post is "From the photos in the ads, and although the cars may be fakes, do from an astatic POV, IMHO do look nice.

Dan, I agree with you that both of these cars look real nice. The biggest issue with that convert. is someone has so obviously swapped the vin tag. That is a can of worms waiting to happen. Perhaps this is a stolen car and is owned by an insurance company or the police are looking for it. I can't think of a good reason for someone to have swapped this tag. Especially when they put a tag from a completely different style of car- a coupe. It's a shame they would have done this to such a rare car, a LM turbo convertible. I agree with Dave, the seller may not even know this. And he is looking for someone that also won't know. Someone somewhere is going to have a problem with this.

WRT the pink car, ask for a picture of the left side, especially of the door.

George, sounds like you know the car. I don't think I've ever seen it around here. The listing shows it's in Tavares but I don't think it was at the Mt. Dora car show. Very unusual color, hard to forget that one.

I've seen it a couple of times. Eddie actually had it at the auto-X in Lake County. He had worked on it, and was very pleased with the car. There was;however, an accident when he had it on (or was putting it on) the lift. Resulted in a good size dent on the drivers door. Don't know if the owner has had it repaired, but I would guess it would be difficult to match that color, especially if it's not been kept out of the Florida sun.
