DUAL Head Advanced Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor byVairtrix

Vairtrix, in partnership with the Corvair Ranch has developed a dual head version of its Advanced Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor. Thermocouples are installed into existing threaded holes in both the left and right heads and connect to the existing CORSA and Spyder wiring harness. Both temperatures are displayed on the stock CHT dash gauge, alternating between the left head temperature for 4 seconds and the right head temperature for 3 seconds.

The dual headed unit will retail for $249.95. Grommets and the 3/8-24 thread adapter are available separately.

Interested parties may contact the Corvair Ranch (www.corvairranch.com) for more information.

Can you make a set up to run 2 separate gauges? one left and one right as I have replaced my clock with another CHT gauge.

Dave, MotoHead asks a great question. Please post an answer on n the Board. Also, can you add idiot light functionality since the snap switch is replaced?

Just run two single gauge sensors if you have two gauges. You will loose the idiot light on the right head though. I'm guessing you will loose the idiot light with the new dual unit too.

Exactly...seems like you could easily just put one of the single Vairtrix sensors in each head. I have been running on in my Spyder since early 2017 and it has been working great.
