FC Suv Visors. LH vs RH. Is there a differenece?

Besides the part number on the pivot, is there a physical difference?
I dug up a lone sun visor pivot with the odd number (ending in 75).
Went to try to ID which side it was (i foget if odd is lh or rh)

But then started looking at a pair i pulled from a rig a year ago and could not readily see where the difference was lh vs rh. A friend told me.he had installed a lh on the rh of his van with no issuses but I find it odd that GM would assing a differnt pn for the same piece.

Is there a difference?

Yes. The mount that screws in has different angles to form to the ceiling lines along with the angle of the mount that holds the spring loaded arm. In the wrong spot and should contact roof skin.

Yes, as already mentioned. I first tried to mount a LH on the Right side of my Fathers Rampside many years ago. Wound up having to find the correct Rh visor.

The reverse-winding on the springs is supposedly to keep them from swinging during brutal acceleration. (haha).

In addition, the visor itself has a tubular spring that wraps around the pivot shaft and those too are reverse wound so the visor doesn't droop while driving, hitting pot-holes and so-on. Since the visor is flip-flopped one side vs. the other, the springs are curled in opposite directions left to right.
