Caveman Convertible, I think Not but it looks different

For the Caveman who wants to round out their collection, this might be just the vehicle to do it.
It is a 1963 Convertible currently offered on flea bay. Enjoy.

I actually pondered building a 1960 Convertible by adding the 60 body panels including the engine compartment and all the 60 trim to a 62 convertible.

The difference however is I was thinking of making it right hand drive also! I have a metric speedometer to build it around!

Just one of my thoughts over the years!!!eye rolling smiley

This one unfortunately has signs od lots of Bondo. But I like the started idea.
Just needed to go further with the 1960 trend in my opinion.

Looks fine to me! I want to build a 1960 station wagon (pre-Lakewood). The hardest part of turning a later early model into a 1960 is the engine compartment. Not impossible, but a lot of work for very little reward in my mind. For some strange reason I have been collecting NOS 1960 front sheet metal panels. Seems like there were quite a few of them produced for service parts and they still show up now and again at swap meets. Currently I think there are a half dozen new ones up in the Caveman Garage's rafters... Yes, I am sick!

Yes, nice looking car.
It has been on the PDX CL for a few months now.
They renew the post to keep it new.
